The 5” round pipe is what really changes the dynamics of this stove. Building upon Dr. Larry Winiarski round rocket stove design from the 1980’s by adding the fuel tube, ash clean out and a damper control, we brought an old design to modern standards. Although the efficiency behind Dr. Winiarski’s design included being fully insulated, we mitigated that issue by going with heavy gauge material to maintain the efficiency. 

- The height of this stove is 30” (with x brace), placing it at an ideal work height for most users
- Weighing in at 75lb and constructed from 5” ID schedule 40 pipe with a wall thickness of .256, creating superior flow dynamics and longevity. 
- Efficiency. You can run this stove on twigs and sticks, wood splits up to 16” long and 2-3” diameter or even charcoal. Due to its heavy wall construction it retains heat therefore reducing fuel requirements. 
- This stove is great for the backyard enthusiasts looking for a fun experience. Also a great prep item in case the world keeps getting funny. 
- The cross top can handle a 13” cast pan or pot. It also has a concave section to hold a 14” round-bottomed Wok or larger. 
- Built in ash grate constructed of 1/4” along with an ash pan for easy clean out. 
- Includes a 25” long fire tool. Contoured to the 5” pipe, makes clean out of ash and carbon build up a breeze! It’s also a fantastic way to control the damper, and open the fuel door so you don’t have to bend over to keep the fire going.

To help prevent failure though, regular maintenance should take place, such as cleaning out the ash, and applying a raw linseed oil coating from time to time.
